The fixes suggested included running OS 9 on a partitioned drive. Not something I'm gonna do. At least I only spent $7 on it. Any suggestions? PLEASE!!!!!

I will probably run on the indoor track tonight since it's supposed to be approximately the temperature of the sun today. I have been really good about eating, sometimes coming in at just 1000 calories a day. Weighed myself this morning. Lost 1 flippin' pound. Like that doesn't scream "WELCOME TO MIDDLE AGE AND A SLOWER METABOLISM!" I guess I'm rushing things. It's only been two weeks (I ran three days last week and was good with the eating too). Three pounds in two weeks, if I look at it that way maybe. I have a goal and a deadline and I need motivation when I look at that scale.

Off topic - Ladies, where do you buy cami's? I get some from Target and HandM and they cling to my bod and roll up from the waist. It's driving me insane. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

So I've run a total of three times in the past week. I'm getting there. I have visions of looking smokin' hot in sun dresses while we're on vacation. Hopefully I can keep it up.

Gerry started the couch potato to 5k regiment this week and he's been going strong. I'm so proud of him!

Eating better lunches and dinners so that helps. No more somewhat healthy meals from the cafe. Lean cuisine or fish all the way baby! Woo hoo - I should pace myself.

Ran two miles yesterday. A chose a different course which I don't know why I didn't do before. It's exactly 1 mile up and back so I was able to get 2 miles in yeaterday. Still working on getting back up to my 10 min/mile pace. This was a 11:48 pace. Ehhh..I still ran. My knees started hurting right off the bat. They don't hurt today but the shoes I've been putting off buying I finally ordered online last night. I can't wait for my platinum and gold beauties to arrive!

I started using 5 lbs dumbells to work on my arms. I'm in a wedding and the dress has thin straps so I need to get some flab off of the upper arms. I was so distracted last night that I kept forgetting which arm exercises I had already done. Oh well. Hopefully I'll be better tonight. I brought out the 9 lbs medicine ball and started doing crunches and what not with it.

Supposed to go to the gyn tonight with my hubby. THis time I will do the stationary bike and weight machines.

Here's hoping the motiviation lasts!

So I ran the St. Louis St. Pat's day race. It's my first 5 mile race. Although I wasn't all that prepared for it I'm still fairly happy with my time. It was such a rush after I was done. I've been walking around on a cloud of accomplishment all day. Gerry was there and he was awesome. He had a bagel and coffee for me at the finish line. Here are the stats:

Distance: 5.35 (I don't know if my nike+ is off or if that's the addition of going around people for 5 miles - I'll choose to believe the latter).
Time: 1:02
Pace: 11:42
Calories: 577
Run vs Walk: 70%
Temperature: 30 degrees
Surface: Tarmac
Rise: Gradual hills

I forgot to put this in my last post but it's a cute little story. I was running around the park when I encountered an older couple on a walk. The gentleman said hello and asked me how I was. I said fine and you and was on my way. Coming back round I met up with them again, since we were going in opposite directions, he smiled at me and said, "Lookin' good girl! Lookin' good." How could I not help but smile. That man totally made my day.
